"Backpackers" are usually young people from across the globe that come to Australia seeking to travel and work hand in hand. Seasonally we employ such people who exhibit the following characteristics: enthusiastic, hardworking, interested, passionate.
We operate in an ever-changing climate of technological advances and we would love to co-operate with an individual who is as passionate about advancements in technology and how that might affect the future of farming, feeding the world, and ensuring that this is achieved in an ethical and environmentally conscious manner.
If you have an interest in aquaculture, and are currently undertaking studies in the local area, we would love to help you cultivate this passion. Get in contact to discuss opportunities available.
We are always looking for more help on the farm, and ways that we may broaden our vision and learning on the farm. In this way we are wishing to begin our own heritage breed flock. We seek a part-time/casual employee who can come to help train our beloved dogs, shepherd and offer animal husbandry to our small flock of rare-breed Ryeland sheep, and help us exhibit them across the various agricultural shows here in WA. We also have goats and alpacas.
